So why did we start up this blog?

Well, Evelyn had always wanted a platform for her to record the miracles and praises that she experiences each day so that she doesn't forget how many answered prayers she has had.

Creating a prayer journal didn't seem to help with that, because there wasn't really enough space for her to detail exactly how her prayer was answered. (Yeah, there is a lot of detail because some prayers take over a year to answer!)

Evelyn keeps a physical diary of her devotions going through Genesis to Revelation as she likes to map, chart, and draw things that she learns and studies. She also keeps a physical prayer journal and pens down all her ongoing prayers and answered prayers but this journal is so private even Shaun doesn't get to look in it.

But above all, during the wedding planning for the Sheves, there were just so many wonderful things that Evelyn wanted to share with not just her friends but the world! Sharing them during prayer meeting or in church during corporate prayer would just gain her the title of "Microphone Hogger". Sharing them in a sermon is something that she's working on but hasn't gotten any instruction from God on how yet. Sharing them online on Facebook - she wasn't sure if she could strike a balance and not just come across as attention seeking.

So here we are! We hope that the experiences we share here will inspire you to pray more, to avoid the mistakes we made, and to think about the impact of your influence.
